. About

I am an architectural designer with a strong interest in blending contemporary aesthetics with functional design across different scales and typologies. With experience in architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture, I enjoy exploring how these disciplines intersect to create cohesive and well-balanced spaces. My multicultural background and exposure to diverse design influences have given me a sensitivity to context, allowing me to bring together different architectural languages in a way that feels both thoughtful and relevant. Growing up along the Aegean coast shaped my approach to architecture, deepening my appreciation for the connection between the built environment and the natural landscape. This influence is often reflected in my work, particularly in the way I consider light, materiality, and spatial flow. I believe in designing with nature, prioritizing it as an essential element of the space, and creating environments that feel like a natural extension of their surroundings. Having worked with leading practices in the country, such as Dilekci Architects (DDA) and DS Landscape and Architecture, I gained valuable experience on a wide range of projects from urban planning to interior design across countries such as Albania, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, and Türkiye.

I earned my Master of Science degree from Politecnico di Milano, where studying in Italy, surrounded by a design culture that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity, had a profound impact on my architectural perspective. Experiencing the Italian approach to space, proportion, and materiality sharpened my sensitivity to these elements, which continues to enrich my work. Living and studying in Milan also gave me a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship and attention to detail, both of which have become integral to my design process. During my studies in Milan, my project for the urban transformation initiative Ri-Formare Milano was selected among the top entries, published, and exhibited. I also received recognition in the student category and had the honor of showcasing my work at the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale. I worked as a research assistant on the influence of Italian architecture in America as part of the study "The Italian Presence in Post-War America, 1949-1972: Architecture, Design, Fashion", led by Prof. Gennaro Postiglione. My master's thesis focused on a simulation study demonstrating that an office tower could operate without the need for air conditioning by utilizing bio-shading techniques in high-rise buildings. The study was conducted through the design of a conceptual tower located in Barcelona, Spain.
